Lunch and recess were my best subjects in school. I’m still good at lunch but have traded recess for naptime. Today I want to mention three of my favorites here in Florence Oregon. For Chinese food, my favorite is Chen’s Family Dish.(Chen's family dish in Florence Oregon has moved. Chen's just opened May 4Th 2009 in their new location at 3620 hwy 101.) Phone 902-2020. They have some lunch specials for less than $7.00, and I have never had a bad meal there! For Mexican food, my favorite is Los Compadres located at 397 Hwy 101. Phone 997-1647. Come hungry, the platters are huge. If you like fish and chips the Seafood Station is the place, located at 1136 Hwy 101. Phone 997-8630. All these places also serve supper.
